KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- The RIUH creative event returns with a special edition, RIUH Raya Baik-Baik, at the Raintree Plaza @ Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) here from Feb 25 to March 1, bringing together communities, local entrepreneurs and artistes on a single platform ahead of Aidilfitri.

MyCreative Ventures Group said in a statement today that the event is expected to attract more than 60,000 visitors throughout its run, serving as a community gathering space ahead of Syawal.

“Themed ‘Kampung Kita’, the event, which runs from 3 pm to 3 am, brings together more than 110 local brands spanning food and beverages, apparel as well as creative products,” the statement said.

Also featured are performances by local artistes such as Aisha Retno, Ramayan and Langkasuka, as well as free creative workshops open to the public.

The statement said the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has come on board as the strategic partner for this edition, aimed at engaging the creative community and visitors to strengthen awareness on financial planning and the importance of retirement savings.

“In addition to empowering entrepreneurs, EPF’s involvement also emphasises efforts to enhance awareness of sustainable and prudent financial management,” MyCreative Ventures said.

Through the collaboration, RIUH continues to strengthen its role as a platform that brings together art, creativity and community while supporting the growth of the local creative economy.
