F​​​​​​ewer Flood Evacuees In Perak

IPOH, Feb 18 (Bernama) — The number of flood victims in Perak continued to decline to seven people from three families this afternoon, compared with 11 people from five families this morning.

The Perak State Disaster Management Secretariat (JPBN) said all the victims have been placed at Dewan Kampung Tengku Hussein in Manjoi here since yesterday.

“All the victims are residents of Kampung Manjoi and Kampung Tengku Hussein who were affected by the disaster,” the statement said.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms and rain in the afternoon and evening in eight Perak  districts - Hilir Perak, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang, Muallim and Perak Tengah.
