ANGKASA, Koperasi LLM Sign MoA To Jointly Organise ACNR 2025

PETALING JAYA, July 9 (Bernama) -- Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA) today signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Koperasi Lembaga Lebuhraya Berhad to jointly organise the inaugural CIMB ASEAN Cultural Night Run @ Penang 2nd Bridge 2025 (ACNR 2025).

The event is scheduled on  Aug 16 at the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge in Penang

The MoA signing, between ANGKASA president Datuk Seri Dr Abdul Fattah Abdullah and Koperasi LLM Berhad chairman Datuk Idrus Mat Tais, was witnessed by ANGKASA Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Abdullah Jusoh and Koperasi LLM Berhad Deputy Secretary Nazri Saad.

 According to Abdul Fattah, who is also ASEAN Cooperative Organisation (ACO) president, ANGKASA's participation in ACNR 2025 is part of the group's efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as strengthen cooperative networks at the regional level.

 "ANGKASA's participation in this programme not only supports a healthy lifestyle among the community, but also provides an opportunity for the cooperative movement to be actively involved in regional-scale programmes, in line with ANGKASA's efforts to promote cooperative culture at the ASEAN level," he told a press conference here today.

He said ANGKASA is channelling sponsorship worth RM100,000 in goods and cash for winners,  including in lucky draw prizes, as a sign of commitment to community development and programmes with social and economic impact.

ANGKASA is targeting to attract 5,000 participants from all over the country and ASEAN countries for the ACNR 2025.

The run will be divided into three main categories, namely the five-kilometre (KM) Fun Run, the 10KM competitive run covering six categories based on gender and age, and the 21KM competitive run, which is divided into four open and veteran categories.
