FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, in line with the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, the spot month June 2025 rose 13 points to 1,518.50, July 2025 increased 14.5 points to 1,517.50, September 2025 appreciated 13.5 points to 1,500.0, and December 2025 improved 14.5 points to 1,506.0.

Turnover widened to 4,814 lots from 4,096 lots on Wednesday, while open interest grew to 35,625 contracts versus 34,744 contracts yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI advanced 0.67 per cent, or 10.15 points, to 1,518.12 from Wednesday’s close of 1,507.97.
