MINA (Saudi Arabia), June 5 (Bernama-SPA) -- The unified Saudi Arabian application, Tawakkalna, is playing a vital role in supporting pilgrims during the 1446H Hajj season, offering a range of advanced digital services to assist at every stage of the pilgrimage.

Pilgrims can easily access their Hajj permits through the app, which is integrated with the Tasreeh unified digital platform.

The app allows users to view various permits issued by government bodies, including pilgrim permit cards, Makkah entry passes, and permits for workers, volunteers, and vehicles.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Tawakkalna also provides access to the Nusuk card via the Nusuk platform, further streamlining verification processes for pilgrims.

Tawakkalna is designed to support the daily movements of pilgrims, enhancing their overall experience with integrated services and rapid responsiveness.

Developed by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the app was originally launched to support government efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among its current features are real-time weather forecasts for the holy sites, Qibla direction, prayer times, access to the Al-Quran and other tools that promote a smooth and secure Hajj experience.

The app is available for download on App Store, Google Play, AppGallery, and Galaxy Store.

It forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader digital transformation strategy under Vision 2030, which prioritises smart technologies to improve services for pilgrims and Umrah performers.
