KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 (Bernama) -- Lazada Malaysia has unveiled six key shopping strategies ahead of its 6.6 Super Wow Sale, set to go live on May 31 at 8 pm.
Lazada, in a statement today, said the mid-year campaign, which runs until June 8, is expected to be one of the platform’s largest e-commerce events, offering steep discounts, time-limited flash deals and exclusive vouchers across multiple categories.
To help shoppers navigate the sale effectively and avoid traffic congestion, Lazada is encouraging early participation through its Chup Dulu feature, which allows users to reserve discounted items in advance and complete their purchases from June 1.
The platform is also introducing multiple “Crazy Brand Mega Offer” time slots throughout the campaign, where shoppers can expect discounts of up to 90 per cent during select hours, including 8 pm to 2 am on May 31, as well as specific time slots in early June.
“There are also special promotions for early bird promotions from 7 am till 10 am, as well as a Happy Hour Sale every day from 2 pm till 5 pm,” said Lazada in the statement.
Moreover, users are encouraged to collect vouchers through the app’s Voucher Centre, with platform-wide discounts reaching up to RM1,000 and free shipping incentives. Many participating brands are also expected to offer their own stackable vouchers up to 70 per cent, allowing shoppers to maximise their total savings at the checkout.
According to Lazada, from June 2 to 5, the campaign will showcase themed shopping events such as LazMart Day for groceries and household essentials, LazGadgets for technology products, Home & Lifestyle for furnishings and personal care, and Style & Glow for beauty and fashion items, each featuring special deals available for one day only.
“Shoppers can look forward to one of the most exciting promotions, the RM16 All Out Deals, offering selected products from over 30 brands at a fixed price of RM16. These deals will be released daily at 3 pm and 9 pm throughout the campaign and will be available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis,” reads the statement.
In addition, Lazada is promoting its 6.6 Match and Win Carnival, an interactive online campaign offering daily vouchers and the chance to win major prizes from premium brands including Apple, Dyson, Estee Lauder, La Mer and many more.
Users can participate by searching for the game microsite via Google and sharing their results on TikTok with hashtags #LazadaMY and #Lazada66MatchAndWin, with winners announced during a LazLive broadcast on June 6 at 8 pm.
To further support consumer confidence, Lazada is reinforcing its return and refund policy, which includes a change-of-mind option for most categories, along with free return pick-up and drop-off services through the Lazada app.
