ROME, April 26 (Bernama-dpa) -- US President Donald Trump has arrived in the Italian capital to attend the funeral of Pope Francis, marking his first foreign trip of his second term, German news agency (dpa) reported.
Touching down at Rome Fiumicino Airport on Friday evening, Trump stepped off Air Force One alongside First Lady Melania Trump.
The White House said the president will attend the funeral service, set to begin at 10 am (0800 GMT) on Saturday.
He is expected to head back to the airport soon after.
His predecessor, Joe Biden, was also expected to attend the funeral along with his wife, Jill.
