PUTRAJAYA, March 5 (Bernama) -- The National Finance Council (NFC) has agreed to increase the grants provided by the federal government to state governments, with the total amount expected to reach RM10.5 billion this year, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 (Bernama) -- The 25 per cent increase in the capitation grant to state governments, amounting to RM548 million effective 2026, is a significant step towards supporting state budgets.
