KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 27 (Bernama) -- The ringgit opened higher against the US dollar, bolstered by Moody’s recent positive rating on Malaysia’s sovereign credit rating, an analyst said.  

At 8 am, the ringgit strengthened to 4.3710/3790 against the greenback, compared to Friday's close of 4.3750/3800.
