NetBox Labs Launches Infrastructure Intelligence Platform
KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 (Bernama) -- NetBox Labs has launched its infrastructure intelligence platform, a unified system designed to help technology infrastructure teams model, monitor, automate and govern infrastructure operations using artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools.
The company said the platform extends the capabilities of its NetBox system of record by combining infrastructure modelling, real-time visibility, AI-driven automation and governance functions to help organisations manage increasingly complex network and infrastructure environments.
NetBox Labs chief executive officer and cofounder, Kris Beevers said infrastructure teams increasingly require more than a traditional source of truth as networks and technology environments become more complex.
“Today, enterprises of all maturity levels need more than just a source of truth. They need a system of record that delivers a trusted, continuously updated understanding of infrastructure that both humans and AI can operate against safely and confidently,” he said in a statement.
Beevers said the platform is designed to support organisations at different stages of infrastructure modernisation, from those beginning to adopt AI agents to those operating highly automated infrastructure management environments.
According to NetBox Labs, the platform includes new capabilities spanning infrastructure data management, asset lifecycle tracking, deployment visibility, AI agent integration and compliance validation.
The platform includes new offerings such as NetBox Data Exchange, a catalogue of infrastructure component metadata; NetBox Asset Lifecycle, which connects network design and procurement processes; NetBox Assurance for infrastructure discovery and validation; and NetBox Validation for compliance auditing, safety verification and resilience analysis.
The announcement coincides with the 10th anniversary of the open-source NetBox platform, which has become widely adopted as a system of record for network and infrastructure management.
NetBox Labs, founded in 2023 as the commercial steward of the project, will continue investing in open-source development while expanding its commercial platform capabilities.
