KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today in line with the underlying cash market’s performance.

The May and September 2026 contracts dropped 9.5 points each to 1,707.50 and 1,686.50, respectively, while the June 2026 contract fell 10.5 points to 1,704.50, and the December 2026 contract was 12.5 points lower at 1,685.0.

Turnover surged to 80,023 lots from 46,855 lots on Monday, while open interest jumped to 114,229 contracts from 77,678 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slid 9.48 points to 1,699.02 from yesterday’s close of 1,708.50.
