BSN Offers Up To RM100,000 Working Capital Financing Under MSME SRF

KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 (Bernama) -- Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) is stepping up support for micro entrepreneurs facing ongoing global economic uncertainties by offering working capital financing facilities of up to RM100,000 under the micro, small and medium enterprise stabilisation relief facility (MSME SRF).

In a statement today, the bank said the facility offers a profit rate as low as 3.75 per cent per annum, with a financing tenure of up to five years.

The bank said the facility is intended to help micro entrepreneurs sustain and expand their businesses through working capital support.

“We hope the MSME SRF will provide much-needed relief by enabling access to financial services tailored to their current needs, while strengthening their resilience,” BSN acting chief executive Mujibburrahman Abd Rashid said.

Apart from the MSME SRF, the bank will continue offering its existing financing products at competitive profit rates to support micro entrepreneurs in sustaining and expanding their operations.

These include BSN Micro/i MADANI, which caters to various groups such as hawkers, youths, women and gig workers, as well as MADANI Sinar, which provides financing for micro entrepreneurs, including persons with disabilities.

Interested customers can visit the nearest BSN branch or access further information via BSN’s official website at www.bsn.com.my.
