Mahsuri Food Launches State-of-the-art Production Facility In Negeri Sembilan
KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 (Bernama) -- Local halal sauces and condiments manufacturer, Mahsuri Food Sdn Bhd has launched its new state-of-the-art production facility in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, marking its efforts to scale its production capabilities and efficiency.
The 45,000-square metre facility is designed as a modern manufacturing hub dedicated to producing Mahsuri sauces, including soy sauce and oyster sauce, supporting the brand’s growth across domestic and regional markets.
"Equipped with state-of-the-art production lines and advanced processing capabilities, the plant supports fully automated manufacturing processes and consistent product quality -- from preparation to bottling and packing -- under stringent quality controls," it said in a joint statement today.
The Malaysian Investment Development Authority provided invaluable guidance, licensing facilitation and coordination throughout the development of the facility, complemented by the Negeri Sembilan state government, through its agency, Invest Negeri Sembilan.
MIDA chief executive officer Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid said Mahsuri’s new expansion project aligns with the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 to strengthen local industries, accelerate domestic investment, and boost Malaysia's industrial competitiveness.
By driving advanced economic complexity, he said the framework encourages local industries to innovate through research and development, adopting automation Industry 4.0 technologies to transition into high-value manufacturing.
"This modern manufacturing facility embodies #InvestLokal - strengthening homegrown supply chains, building sophisticated local capabilities, and boosting global demand for world-class Malaysian halal food products," he said.
According to the joint statement, the halal-certified production facility will serve as a bedrock for Mahsuri’s future expansion, while strengthening Malaysia’s capability to export premium quality Halal sauce products to key international markets, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East and India.
