Mixpanel Launches Always-On Product Intelligence System

KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- Mixpanel, a global leader in product intelligence and analytics, has unveiled Mixpanel AI, the always-on product intelligence system designed to help teams develop products faster and more efficiently by analysing user behaviour and recommending next steps.

The company said Mixpanel AI continuously monitors products and proactively surfaces insights and issues before teams identify them manually, combining specialised artificial intelligence (AI) agents, a business-aware Context Engine, and integrations with commonly used workplace tools.

Mixpanel Chief Technology Officer, Anant Gupta said early users found the platform easy to adopt and capable of providing deeper explanations beyond raw analytics.

“Early users have said Mixpanel AI is easy to get started with, and once you are in, it does not just give you numbers, it explains what they mean and why,” Gupta said in a statement.

He added that engineers, product managers, and analysts are receiving insights that previously took hours to uncover through manual analysis.

Built on 17 years of product analytics infrastructure and used by more than 29,000 customers globally, Mixpanel AI is designed to transform product data into actionable and explainable intelligence supported by verified data and business context.

Mixpanel AI is built around three main pillars — AI agents that understand business context, capabilities that help teams move from diagnosis to action, and flexible access across the tools employees already use.

At the centre of the platform is the Mixpanel Agent, which coordinates specialised sub-agents including onboarding, dashboard, experiment, root cause analysis, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) monitoring agents.

The company said the Context Engine enables the system to understand each customer’s business goals, team structure, and product environment, ensuring responses are personalised using customer-specific data, while a Verified Mode feature allows administrators to control which data can be accessed by the AI system.

The company added that Mixpanel AI is designed to work both within the Mixpanel platform and through integrations with tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Slack.

Mixpanel AI is generally available and will be rolled out to all Mixpanel customers in phases through June.
