ClearDox Rebrands, Launches AI Trade Platform
KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 (Bernama) -- ClearDox unveiled ClearOpx, a new brand identity marking the evolution of its product offering, alongside the launch of the ClearOpx OTRM Platform—designed to automate operational workflows across the trade lifecycle.
The platform introduces a unified approach to operational trade and risk management, leveraging agentic artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline processes from trade capture through payment execution.
According to a statement, the rebrand reflects the company’s shift toward intelligent automation aimed at reducing operational friction while improving revenue outcomes.
ClearOpx chief executive officer (CEO), Rick Nelson said the solution transforms operations from a cost centre into a strategic value driver by eliminating reliance on spreadsheets, emails and legacy systems.
Meanwhile, StoneX Commodity Solutions CEO, Brent Grecian said the technology has helped automate manual workflows and improve scalability across high-volume, multi-jurisdictional operations.
The announcement comes amid accelerating enterprise AI investment. Gartner projects global AI spending will grow 44 per cent in 2026, reaching US$4.7 trillion by 2029 as organisations scale infrastructure, applications and workforce adoption. (US$1 = RM3.91)
Against this backdrop, ClearOpx targets long-standing inefficiencies in commodity and energy trading, where fragmented systems, manual workflows and regulatory complexity often lead to errors, delays, and increased risk exposure.
The OTRM platform applies agentic AI across core operational functions, including trade capture, confirmation, logistics tracking, financial optimisation and payment processing. It integrates with existing CTRM and ETRM systems, allowing organisations to preserve trading and risk infrastructure while modernising operations.
By automating document-heavy and data-intensive workflows, the platform enables real-time visibility into shipment status, inventory levels and contractual obligations while improving accuracy in financial processes such as letters of credit and invoice reconciliation.
With the launch, ClearOpx aims to define a new category in operational trade lifecycle management—enabling organisations to move from reactive processing to proactive, AI-driven optimisation at scale.
