Cloudera Unveils Zero Copy Data Connector For ServiceNow AI Workflows

KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 (Bernama) -- Cloudera introduced a Workflow Data Fabric Zero Copy Connector for ServiceNow, aimed at enabling enterprises to connect hybrid data environments with artificial intelligence (AI)-driven workflows without duplicating data.

The announcement was made at the ServiceNow Knowledge26 conference, where the companies said the integration is designed to support secure, real-time AI execution across distributed enterprise systems.

Cloudera Chief Product Officer, Leo Brunnick said enterprises require traceability and governance capabilities to scale autonomous AI systems safely and meet regulatory requirements.

Meanwhile, ServiceNow Vice President of Data and Analytics Product Ecosystem, Pramod Mahadevan said the collaboration is intended to help organisations improve automation and workflow management through access to governed enterprise data.

The connector allows organisations to query data directly from existing storage environments, eliminating the need for traditional data transfers while maintaining governance and security controls, according to a statement.

The approach is intended to reduce infrastructure costs, avoid redundant storage and help protect sensitive information such as personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI) and payment card information (PCI).

The platform is designed to support compliance requirements, including the EU AI Act, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

The launch expands an existing partnership between the two companies following ServiceNow’s participation in Cloudera’s partner AI ecosystem in 2025.

Cloudera said the connector is designed to enable enterprises to operationalise AI systems at scale while maintaining oversight, compliance and security controls across hybrid environments.
