Aptean To Preview AI Platform, AI Agents For Business Central On-Premises Users

KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (Bernama) -- Aptean, a global provider of industry-specific software, has announced the exclusive preview of its artificial intelligence (AI) platform, AppCentral, and AI agents for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises customers.

According to Aptean in a statement, the solution, previewing at Directions North America from April 27 to 29, enables partners to deploy AI tools to on-premises customers without requiring migration to the cloud.

Aptean Vice President of Global Partner Program, Kara McClain said the platform allows partners to introduce AI capabilities to customers who previously lacked access due to on-premises limitations.

“For the first time, our partners have a ready-to-sell AI platform and agent suite for their Business Central on-premises customers, with no migration required and minimal implementation time,” she said.

Aptean said the platform includes a fully packaged suite of 10 AI agents that can be deployed within days, allowing partners to deliver AI-driven insights and automation across their customer base while creating new revenue opportunities.

Using pre-built integrations, AppCentral connects directly to a customer’s live Business Central environment, enabling the AI agents to analyse operational data and generate actionable outputs without additional system configuration.

The initial release includes AI agents across functions such as finance, supply chain, sales, procurement, inventory, warehouse and production. Partners can also configure up to 20 automated workflows per customer to extend AI capabilities beyond analytics into operational processes.

Aptean will also showcase AppCentral, its AI platform and AI agents at Directions Asia 2026, to be held from May 13 to 15 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
