Xora Appoints Eric Rosenblum As General Partner To Expand US Presence, AI Investments

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- Xora Innovation (Xora), an early-stage artificial intelligence (AI) and deep tech venture firm backed by Temasek, has appointed Eric Rosenblum as General Partner to strengthen its presence in the United States (US) and accelerate investments in AI infrastructure, Applied AI, and deep tech companies.

Based in Silicon Valley, Rosenblum will focus on identifying and supporting category-defining companies in high-growth sectors.

The appointment follows a period of strong momentum for Xora’s portfolio, including the acquisition of Celestial AI by Marvell Technology and investments in companies such as Amperesand, Bedrock Robotics, Rhoda AI, Upscale AI, and Vinci.

Xora Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer, Phil Inagaki said Rosenblum has a rare full-stack background—he has built software at top global AI and tech companies, founded and successfully exited startups, and proven he can identify and scale winning investments.

“Most importantly, he has earned deep trust from founders through relentless and authentic support,” he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Rosenblum added: “We are in the middle of one of the most significant innovation cycles in decades, driven by how AI is being built and deployed. Xora works closely with founders, providing support beyond capital to build enduring companies in complex, high-stakes sectors.”

Rosenblum joins from Foothill Ventures, where he served as Managing Partner and helped build the firm into a leading early-stage deep tech investor. His experience spans investments across semiconductors, energy systems, and industrial automation, including Amperesand, HyperLight, Aether Fuels, Quintessent, Coreshell, and AM Batteries.

He also held product leadership roles at Google and Palantir, and operational leadership positions as Chief Operating Officer at Drawbridge (acquired by LinkedIn) and Chief Executive Officer at Smartpay (acquired by Ping An Group).
