KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, in sync with the underlying cash market.

At the close, April 2026 added 19.0 points to 1,708.5, May 2026 stood at 1,709.0, while June 2026 and September 2026 increased 20.0 points each to 1,707.0 and 1,691.0, respectively. 

Turnover tumbled to 8,172 lots from 11,040 lots on Tuesday, while open interest fell to 38,971 contracts from 41,836 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) increased 18.54 points, or 1.10 per cent, to 1,708.90 from Tuesday’s close of 1,690.36.
