KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Thursday.

At 9.30 am, the March 2026 contract fell eight points to 1,718.50, while April 2026 and June 2026 contracts slid seven points each to 1,710.50 and 1,707.50, respectively.  The September 2026 contract decreased by 6.50 points to 1,690.0.

Turnover stood at 7,596 lots, with open interest at 41,739 contracts.

The FBM KLCI eased 2.91 points to 1,713.70 after 47 minutes of trading, from Wednesday’s close of 1,716.68.
