KLCI Futures Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, March 18 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Wednesday, tracking the underlying cash market.

At 9.42 am, the March 2026 and April 2026 contracts rose 9.0 points each to 1,719.0 and 1,719.5, respectively, June 2026 gained 7.50 points to 1,719.0, and September 2026 added 13.5 points to 1,705.0.

Turnover stood at 3,082 lots, with open interest at 36,139 contracts.

The FBM KLCI rose 14.92 points to 1,725.91 after 49 minutes of trading, from yesterday’s close of 1,710.99.
