Checkmarx Unveils AI-Native Security Platform

KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 (Bernama) -- Checkmarx, a leader in agentic application security, has unveiled its new Checkmarx One platform built for the new era of artificial intelligence (AI) development.

Recognising that AI accelerates software creation beyond human speed and scale, the company in a statement stated that traditional application security models are now fundamentally misaligned.

The redesigned platform embeds agentic, AI-driven security across code, open-source dependencies, AI assets, and runtime, allowing organisations to innovate at machine speed with security integrated from the start.

Checkmarx Chief Executive Officer, Sandeep Johri noted that successful security in the AI era requires more than speed, adding that it demands independent oversight, full visibility across the AI software supply chain, and unified governance spanning code, dependencies, AI assets, and runtime.

The core of the reimagined Checkmarx One platform is a new architecture leveraging agentic security agents and AI-native intelligence across the entire software and AI supply chain.

Key capabilities include Triage Assist, which prioritises vulnerabilities based on real-world risk, and Remediation Assist, which generates fixes for validated issues before code integration.

The platform also features AI supply chain security for managing AI components, alongside enhanced static and dynamic testing tools designed for AI-generated applications.

Together, these innovations shift application security from a reactive review to agentic governance, aligning with the speed and complexity of AI-driven software development.

The new capabilities are available as part of the Checkmarx One Enterprise Edition or as add-ons to the Essentials or Professional Edition. The company will demonstrate the platform at RSA Conference 2026.
