H2O.ai, xAmplify Partner To Drive Sovereign AI In ANZ

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- H2O.ai, an open-source artificial intelligence (AI) platform company, has partnered with xAmplify, Australia’s premier sovereign AI integrator, to accelerate expansion across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

The alliance is designed to combine H2O.ai’s world-class Agentic AI platform with xAmplify’s proven expertise in delivering secure, explainable, enterprise-grade AI-enabled transformation for government and enterprise organisations.

According to H2O.ai in a statement, the collaboration aims to close the gap between initial AI pilots and achieving measurable business outcomes for highly regulated entities.

xAmplify chief executive officer and co-founder, Wayne Gowland noted that Australian organisations are transitioning beyond pilots toward production deployments that must meet rigorous sovereignty, security, and explainability standards.

Gowland emphasised that the partnership merges world-leading AI technology with xAmplify's delivery expertise, helping clients transform operations while maintaining complete control over their data and models.

xAmplify is backed by a Macquarie Capital-supported national expansion and recent acquisitions that strengthen its enterprise transformation capabilities. The firm brings deep experience supporting Australian government agencies and enterprise customers in deploying secure, sovereign AI solutions.

The partnership ensures Australian organisations can confidently scale AI deployments, progressing from initial experimentation directly into production.

For government and enterprise organisations navigating complex regulatory requirements and digital sovereignty mandates, the partnership enables government agencies to own their data, models, and AI infrastructure and to deploy AI securely across diverse environments such as on-premise, private cloud, and air-gapped settings.

Furthermore, the collaboration facilitates fine-tuning use-case-specific large language models (LLMs) and establishing operational governance, transparency, and explainability across AI workflows.
