KLCI Futures End Broadly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended broadly higher on Thursday, in line with the stronger performance of the cash market.

At the close, March 2026 jumped 25 points to 1,697.0, April 2026 surged 24.5 points to 1,699.5, June 2026 went up 23.5 points to 1,700.5, and September 2026 soared 21.5 points to 1,679.0. 

Turnover fell to 8,706 lots from Wednesday’s 11,590 lots, while open interest slipped to 44,227 contracts from 48,447 contracts yesterday. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI increased 14.98 points to close at an intraday high of 1,713.20 from Wednesday’s close of 1,698.22.
