DNeX, MARA Ink MoU On Developing Unified Data Intelligence Hub

PUTRAJAYA, March 2 (Bernama) -- Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) and Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on developing a Unified Data Intelligence Hub as part of a broader artificial intelligence (AI)-driven digital transformation initiative.

The technology company said in a statement today that the proposed hub will function as a central, AI-native digital ecosystem aimed at harmonising MARA’s data assets across its various divisions and operational pillars.

“Using advanced integration and analytics technologies, this future-proofed platform will serve as the foundational engine for MARA’s digital transformation, significantly enhancing data accessibility, cross-pillar unification, and operational efficiency," according to the statement.

Beyond data integration, the MoU also encompasses initiatives to accelerate AI adoption within MARA, including the development of an AI upskilling framework and capability-building programmes to nurture a digitally adept workforce.

DNeX IT chief executive officer Marlishiraz Ramli said the partnership is expected to strengthen the company's strategic positioning by opening access to new market segments through joint programmes that support start-ups, entrepreneurs and the national innovation ecosystem.

“By integrating AI-driven solutions and advanced digital platforms, we are reinforcing our role as a strategic technology partner to key government-linked institutions such as MARA, while contributing to national talent development and digital innovation,” she said.
