KLCI Futures End Higher Tracking Cash Market Gains
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Thursday, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.
At the close, the February 2026 and March 2026 contracts each rose 17.5 points to 1,758.0 and 1,738.0, respectively. June 2026 gained 18 points to 1,743.0, and September 2026 was 17.0 points higher at 1,729.0.
Turnover was higher at 6,629 lots from 3,473 lots on Monday, while open interest increased to 44,029 contracts from 41,005 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 10.85 points, or 0.62 per cent, to 1,752.11 compared with Monday’s close of 1,741.26.
