KLCI Futures End Mostly Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 19 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly lower, in line with the weaker underlying cash market.

At the close, January 2026 was unchanged at 1,710.0, while February 2025 decreased 1.5 points to 1,713.5, March 2026 eased 2.0 points to 1,695.0 and June 2026 eased 0.5 points to 1,700.0.

Turnover decreased to 5,044 lots from 6,276 lots last Friday, while open interest was slightly lower at 39,558 contracts compared to 41,095 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 0.41 of-a-point to 1,712.33, compared with last Friday’s close of 1,712.74.
