KLCI Futures Open Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened lower in early trade today.

At 9.44 am, the spot month January 2026 fell 3.0 points to 1,680.50, February 2026 eased 2.5 points to 1,685.0, March 2026 declined 2.0 points to 1,666.50, while June 2026 inched down 0.5 of-a-point to 1,670.0.

Turnover stood at 1,469 lots, with open interest at 34,898 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI trimmed 6.99 points to 1,673.33 after 48 minutes of trading, compared with Monday’s close of 1,680.32.
