KLCI Futures Open Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened higher in early trade today.

At 9.38 am, the spot month January 2026 rose 11.5 points to 1,684.0, February 2026 gained 12.0 points to 1,687.5, and March 2026 added 12.0 points to 1,670.0, while June 2026 was up 8.5 points at 1,670.0.

Turnover stood at 2,518 lots, with open interest at 35,715 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI advanced 6.11 points to 1,675.87 after an hour of trading, compared with last Friday’s close of 1,669.76.
