KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 26 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened lower on Friday.

At 9.30 am, the December 2025 and January 2026 contracts fell 6.5 points to 1,677.0 and 1,681.5, respectively, March 2026 contract lost 7.0 points to 1,665.0, and June 2026 contract decreased 11 points to 1,665.0.

Turnover was at 4,170 lots, with open interest at 45,566 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI dropped 4.70 points to 1,673.61 after 47 minutes of trading, compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,678.31.

The market was closed yesterday in observance of Christmas Day.
