KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 24 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Wednesday, tracking gains in the underlying cash market.

At the close, the December 2025 contract rose 10 points to 1,673.5. The January 2026 contract added 9.0 points to 1,679.0, March 2026 advanced 8.5 points to 1,663.5, and June 2026 gained 9.0 points to 1,667.0.

Turnover increased to 39,353 lots from 20,477 on Tuesday, while open interest widened to 76,499 contracts from 58,090 previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 1.67 points, or 0.10 per cent, to 1,678.31 from Tuesday’s close of 1,676.64.
