CBH Engineering Unit Bags Data Centre-related Project Worth RM130 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 23 (Bernama) -- CBH Engineering Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, CBH Engineering Sdn Bhd, has accepted two letters of award (LOA) from Company A for the development of a landing station at a data centre worth RM130 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, CBH Engineering said the contract involves the design, installation and completion, as well as the supply of materials, for the extension of an existing 275 kV (kiloVolt) Consumer Landing Station at a data centre located in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

"The contract will be implemented in three phases. Phase 1 shall commence on Dec 23, 2025, being the date of signing of the LOA, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2026.

"Phases 2 and 3 will be completed within seven months from the date of Company A’s written instruction, provided that such instruction is issued within the validity period stated in the respective Letters of Award," it said.

CBH said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share, net assets, and gearing of the company throughout the duration of the contract.
