Kimlun's Unit Secures Construction Contracts Worth RM617.7 Mln In Johor

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 23 (Bernama) — Kimlun Corporation Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Kimlun Sdn Bhd has secured three construction contracts worth a combined RM617.73 million in Johor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Kimlun Corporation said the contracts entail main building works for serviced apartment developments and infrastructure and building works for residential and commercial properties in Johor Bahru.

The projects are expected to be completed between the second quarter and the fourth quarter of 2028.

The contracts comprise a RM176.20 million job awarded by Permas Jaya Sdn Bhd for the construction of two blocks of serviced apartments and ancillary buildings in Mukim Plentong, and a RM271.55 million contract from Melia Spring Sdn Bhd for similar works in Mukim Pulai.

The third contract, valued at RM169.98 million, was awarded by CJ Developments Sdn Bhd for infrastructure and building works for terrace houses and shop-offices in Mukim Pulai.

“The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Kimlun group of companies for the financial years during the respective contract periods,” the group said.
