KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 23 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened lower on Tuesday.

At 9.30 am, the December 2025 contract fell 8.5 points to 1,671.0, the January contract declined 8.0 points to 1,674.50, the March 2026 contract declined 7.5 points to 1,659.5, and the June 2026 contract slipped 6.0 points to 1,663.0.

Turnover was at 4,516 lots, with open interest at 42,465 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI decreased 3.50 points to 1,667.79 after 49 minutes of trading, compared with Monday’s close of 1,671.29
