Megah Port, Sailion Shipping Honoured At CILTM Sabah Outstanding Awards

KOTA KINABALU, Dec 14 (Bernama) -- Megah Port Management Sdn Bhd (MPM) and its sister company Sailion Shipping Sdn Bhd were among industry players recognised with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia (CILTM) Sabah Section Outstanding Awards for their contributions to logistics, transport and maritime sectors.

The awards were presented by Deputy Sabah State Secretary Datuk Mohd Hanafiah Mohd Kassim during the CILTM Sabah Gala Dinner at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) tonight.

MPM managing director Datuk Seri Patrick Tiong received the award on behalf of the Labuan-based port operator, while Isaac Abdullah accepted on behalf of Sailion Shipping.

“This award is a milestone for the port operator and serves as a strong motivation for us to strive to do better, enhance efficiency and continue contributing meaningfully to the logistics and maritime ecosystem,” Tiong said.

MPM prioritises operational efficiency, safety and service reliability to strengthen port competitiveness, supporting cargo movements for the oil and gas sector as well as consumer and industrial goods.

Sailion Shipping provides maritime solutions, specialising in cruise handling and shipping services across Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.

Both companies are part of the Lion Logistics Group, which operates nationwide.

The CILTM Sabah Outstanding Awards recognise organisations demonstrating excellence, leadership and sustained contributions to the development of Sabah and Labuan’s logistics, transport and maritime sectors.
