FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, in line with the positive performance of the cash market.

At the close, the December 2025 contract rose 16 points to 1,645.0, January 2026 jumped 15.5 points to 1,647.5, March 2026 surged 16.5 points to 1,632.0, and June 2026 climbed 14 points to 1,632.0.

Turnover slid to 7,158 lots from 7,790 on Thursday, while open interest slipped to 43,035 contracts versus 43,756 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 12.42 points, or 0.76 per cent, to 1,637.81 from Thursday’s close of 1,625.39.
