Bodor Laser Solution Targets North American Structural Steel Growth
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11 (Bernama) -- Bodor Laser has introduced its integrated profile-processing solution to support growth in North America’s structural steel sector, driven by federal infrastructure spending and private-sector investment.
The U3000 and Hicut Fiber Laser Cutter systems streamline fabrication by combining hole-making, bevelling, notching, marking, and cutting into a single automated cycle, enabling continuous loading, cutting, and unloading.
Bodor Laser in a statement said the solution integrates Tekla software and Intelligent Deviation-Correction Positioning to ensure precise reproduction of design details for smooth on-site assembly.
The U3000 processes profiles, sheets, and tubes in a single machine, with a maximum processing length of 110.24 inches, and can accommodate multiple worktables for uninterrupted operation.
Meanwhile, the Hicut system offers rapid loading in under 20 seconds, one-pass lock notching, and five-axis, 180-degree laser-head movement for high-precision cuts.
Deployed across North America for infrastructure, machinery, and shipbuilding projects, both machines have earned strong customer recognition for performance and service.
Bodor has led global fibre-laser sales for six consecutive years through 2024 and continues to expand its North American service team and local spare-parts inventory to support manufacturers.
