Virtue Trustee Unveils Wealth Protection Solutions Aligned With MADANI Framework

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 (Bernama) -- Virtue Trustee Bhd (VTB) has launched a comprehensive suite of trustee, Islamic trust, and legacy-planning solutions, aimed at providing professional, secure and transparent wealth protection for all Malaysians, fully aligned with the national MADANI framework’s core values.

In a statement today, the company said its services support both individual and corporate clients, covering estate administration, family trusts, hibah (Islamic lifetime gift) trusts, and corporate trusteeship.

“These services ensure assets are managed responsibly, preserved across generations and distributed in accordance with the owner’s wishes.

“Among VTB’s key offerings is the Hibah Trust, an Islamic lifetime gift mechanism that allows individuals to distribute their wealth during their lifetime in line with their faith,” it said.

VTB said this structure ensures assets remain protected, professionally managed and clearly distributed without dispute.

The company also offers Takaful Trusts, which combine the benefits of Islamic insurance with the safeguards of a trust, ensuring that proceeds are preserved for the long-term welfare of beneficiaries.

VTB chairman Datuk Mazlan Ahmad said many people assume trusts are only for the super-rich. “In reality, a trust is a legal structure that separates ownership from control and is managed professionally,” he said.

He noted that family trusts are accessible wealth management tools for the wider public, which can be established with fully-owned assets starting from tens of thousands of ringgit.

“For Malaysian families, a family trust is more than a structure—it is a practical promise of security and continuity.

"It safeguards the family home or business from life’s unforeseen events, ensures hard-earned wealth is used for education and positive milestones, and provides a confidential way to pass on values alongside assets,” he added.
