Checkmarx Acquires Tromzo To Advance Autonomous AI-Powered AppSec

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 (Bernama) -- Checkmarx, the global leader in agentic application security, has acquired Tromzo, a pioneer in artificial intelligence (AI)-native autonomous security agents.

The deal marks a major leap forward in autonomous application security (AppSec), accelerating the development of AI agents capable of understanding real enterprise risk, reasoning across complex software ecosystems, and delivering continuous, precise remediation.

According to a statement, Tromzo’s technology and engineering team will strengthen the Checkmarx One platform and expand the Checkmarx Assist family of AI agents.

Tromzo founders Harshil Parikh and Harshit Chitalia, along with the company’s entire AI engineering team, will join Checkmarx’s product and engineering organisation.
