FBM KLCI Futures Close Marginally Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives finished slightly higher today, tracking the cash market’s performance.

At the close, the December 2025 contract gained 1.5 points to 1,611.0, while January 2026, March 2026 and June 2026 bagged one point each to 1,614.0, 1,597.5, and 1,601.0, respectively.

Turnover shrank to 8,110 lots from 11,489 lots on Monday, while open interest slid to 43,727 contracts versus 46,953 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI improved 1.39 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 1,614.17 from Monday’s close of 1,612.78.
