YTL's Francis Yeoh Honoured With ASEAN Lifetime Achievement Award In London

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 (Bernama) -- YTL Corporation executive chairman Tan Sri Francis Yeoh has been awarded the ASEAN Personality of the Year 2025 – Lifetime Achievement Award, at the 26th Asian Business Awards 2025 in London, said Asian Media Group United Kingdom (UK).

In a statement today, the Asian Media Group said the award celebrates Yeoh’s decades of transformational leadership at YTL Corp —  shaping global infrastructure, pioneering sustainability, redefining purpose-driven enterprise, and setting benchmarks admired across continents.

One of the evening’s most powerful highlights was Yeoh’s Special Leadership Talk on stage, conducted by renowned British radio and television presenter Nihal Arthanayake.

Their conversation — insightful, elegant, and thought-provoking — left a profound impression on the distinguished audience of business leaders, diplomats, and policymakers.

The statement said the award reflects both Yeoh’s remarkable achievements and his enduring legacy of visionary excellence.

According to the statement, this year’s awards also marked the first-ever ASEAN Award in the 26-year history of the Asian Business Awards, symbolising the growing influence and partnership of ASEAN nations within the UK.

The strong attendance of various ASEAN embassies added dignity, cultural diversity, and authenticity to the evening, making the Asian Business Awards 2025 not only a celebration of achievement but a moment that felt truly Asian — and truly global.
