Versa Firewall Solution Earns Top CyberRatings Score For Ninth Straight Year

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- Versa, the global leader in unified networking and security, has once again secured CyberRatings.org’s highest “Recommended” rating for its Next-Generation Firewall, marking the company’s ninth consecutive year at the top.

In the third quarter of the 2025 Enterprise Firewall report, based on independent testing by NSS Labs, Versa scored 100 per cent in malware and exploit evasion resistance and posted a leading throughput of 7,626 megabits per second (Mbps), more than twice the speed of its closest competitors.

Versa Chief Security Architect, Sunil Ravi said this latest CyberRatings report confirms what the customers experience daily—Versa delivers leading security and performance at a highly efficient cost.

In a statement, he added that it is built for defending enterprises in the artificial intelligence (AI)-driven threat landscape.

In the latest assessment, Versa ranked among the top three vendors for Security Effectiveness and delivered more than twice the throughput of competing solutions, underscoring its commitment to delivering high-performance Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) protection across enterprise environments.

The NSS Labs benchmark compared solutions from Check Point, Cisco, Forcepoint, Fortinet, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks, and Versa. Versa scored 99.43 per cent in Security Effectiveness, achieved the highest false positive accuracy at 99.63 per cent, and delivered the fastest throughput across real-world test conditions.
