Curia Unveils Third ESG Report, Reinforces Commitment To Sustainability, Integrity

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Curia Global Inc (Curia), a leading contract research, development and manufacturing organisation, has released its third Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, underscoring its deepening commitment to responsible innovation and sustainable growth.

At the heart of the report is Curia’s new “C.U.R.I.A. Way”—curiosity, urgency, respect, integrity, and accountability—values that define its culture and guide its corporate responsibility efforts.

“Our latest ESG report reflects our progress as a leader in the industry, from reducing our environmental footprint to fostering a culture of safety, integrity and responsibility.

“As Curia continues to evolve, we know there is still more work to be done. Our ESG initiatives remain deeply intertwined with our approach to scientific innovation and operational excellence as we serve our customers and their patients,” said its chief executive officer, Philip Macnabb in a statement.

In 2024, the company took a major step toward climate leadership by committing to science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets through the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) and joining the United Nations’ Race to Zero campaign, which aims to halve global emissions by 2030.

Safety and operational excellence also stood out—85 per cent of Curia facilities surpassed one year without a recordable injury, and nine sites exceeded two years.

Meanwhile, several European facilities earned ISO certifications in quality, health, safety, and environmental management.

Curia continues to prioritise employee development, with staff dedicating more than 10,000 voluntary hours on its iLearn platform, powered by Skillsoft Percipio. The company’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Council is also expanding its initiatives to ensure open dialogue and equitable advancement opportunities for all employees.
