Xsolla Strengthens Southeast Asia Presence With Breakthrough Bangkok Events

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- Global video game commerce company Xsolla has cemented its position in Southeast Asia after a high-impact week in Thailand, hosting Xsolla Connect Bangkok 2025 and participating in Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025.

According to the statement, the two events gathered hundreds of global industry professionals, spotlighting Xsolla’s innovations in game commerce, payments, and player engagement—and underscoring Southeast Asia’s rising influence in the global games market.

Held on Oct 15, Xsolla Connect Bangkok brought together over 100 guests from leading studios for targeted networking, creative showcases, and talks from Xsolla executives and local creators. Attendees praised the event’s focus on authentic connections and regional collaboration.

At the Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show (Oct 16 to 19), which attracted over 80,000 visitors, Xsolla’s booth became a major draw for developers exploring growth solutions tailored to the Asian market. The company showcased tools such as Web Shop, Pay Station, and LiveOps Management Suite, emphasising direct-to-consumer sales and seamless global payments.

Its Chief Marketing and Growth Officer, Berkley Egenes also joined a panel on innovative partnerships, highlighting how developers can expand profits through alternative payment strategies and direct global engagement.

The week resulted in new partnerships, expanded regional collaborations, and increased awareness of Xsolla’s ecosystem among Southeast Asian studios—reinforcing its growing role in the region’s thriving gaming economy.

Following its Bangkok success, Xsolla plans to expand its Connect series globally in 2026, with new stops across Asia, Europe, and North America, continuing its mission to empower developers through localised monetisation and player-first engagement strategies.
