Newly Launched Mahsia Media Aims To Empower Brands
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 (Bernama) -- A new player has entered the country’s media and marketing landscape with the official launch of Mahsia Media Group Sdn Bhd last night, a brand communication consultancy founded by Datuk Dr Calvin Khiu.
Mahsia Media in a statement said, it aims to help enterprises and brands strengthen their visibility, credibility and audience engagement in the digital era.
Khiu, who is also the Founder and Chairman of MK Curtain Berhad, said the establishment of Mahsia Media was inspired by his observation that many small and medium enterprises (SMEs), particularly post-pandemic, continued to face challenges in exposure, communication and budget constraints.
“Every brand has a story to tell. Mahsia Media is not just a media company but a brand-marketing consultancy. Through it, I hope more enterprises can let their stories be heard by the world.

During the launch, Mahsia Media introduced its eight brand growth engines, designed to enhance brand communication through innovation, integration and trust-building in braving the Marketing 5.0 era.
They include systems for trust recovery, experience design, content influence, personal brand ecosystem, influence network, omni-media integration, brand legitimacy and brand awareness intelligence.
“The platform’s strategies combine storytelling, emotional experience and technology-driven engagement to enable brands to evolve from being seen to being trusted.
“The launch event drew over 300 corporate leaders, media representatives and social influencers, including Tengku Datuk Dr Hishammuddin Zaizi and Vice-President of the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce Datuk Sohaimi Shahadan,” the statement read.
The event also featured the “Voice of the Year” award ceremony, recognising 17 individuals who have made positive contributions in live streaming and brand communication, including Loh Wei Hong (HH Boss), Low Tzy Yin (Miss Little Sister), Josephine Quay (Jo Mama) and Ivan Tan (Chef Ivan).
Another highlight of the evening was a special appearance by 40 finalists of Miss Tourism International 2025, symbolising Mahsia Media’s global vision in promoting culture, tourism and creative communication.
