FBM KLCI Futures End Marginally Lower, Tracking Weaker Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended marginally lower, tracking the weaker underlying cash market.

At the close, the October 2025 contract was flat at 1,612.00, while the November 2025, December 2025 and March 2026 contracts slipped half-a-point each to 1,612.00, 1,610.50, and 1,592.50, respectively.

Turnover eased to 7,386 lots from 8,876 last Friday, while open interest reduced to 49,043 contracts from 50,199 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 7.06 points, or 0.44 per cent, to 1,615.19 from Friday’s close of 1,622.25.
