FBM KLCI Futures Softer At Opening

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened softer on Friday, tracking weaker sentiment in the broader market.

At 9.18 am, the spot month October 2025 contract fell 5.5 points to 1,623.50, while the November 2025 contract slipped 7.5 points to 1,622.0.

The December 2025 contract was 6.5 points lower at 1,620.0, and the March 2026 contract eased five points to 1,603.0.

Turnover stood at 712 lots, with open interest totalling 43,136 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI decreased 6.90 points to 1,622.77 after 37 minutes of trading, from Thursday’s close of 1,629.67.
