Matrix Concepts, Golog Ink MoU For MVV 2.0 Land Development In Negeri Sembilan

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd (MCHB) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Golog Holdings Sdn Bhd to collaborate on the acquisition and development of a 250.1-hectare parcel of land in Smart County, Labu, Negeri Sembilan.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the partnership aims to advance the objectives of Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0) through the development of the China-Malaysia Air Silk Road Dual Hub Industrial Park (CMAS Industrial Park).

The MoU formalises both parties’ intention to establish a framework for cooperation and participation in the realisation and execution of the project.

MCHB said the MoU also seeks to strengthen collaboration in exploring joint business opportunities for integrated developments, including the construction of CMAS Industrial Park.

It also paves the way for discussions on strategies, joint venture (JV) structures, business models, responsibilities, funding and potential benefits in developing the MVV lands.

The company said the initiative is expected to enhance bilateral trade, reinforce supply chain resilience, and position Malaysia as a key logistics hub in global trade networks.

Additionally, both parties would conduct research or feasibility studies for the proposed developments and consider forming a JV or strategic alliance through a special purpose vehicle to undertake the acquisition and development of the MVV lands and CMAS Industrial Park.

MCHB said the parties may also enter into further JV or strategic alliance agreements, or other arrangements as mutually agreed, to formalise their cooperation framework.

"The MOU is not expected to have any effects on the issued share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings, net assets, gearing, earnings, and earnings per share of MCHB and its subsidiaries,"  it added.
