FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Wednesday, tracking losses in the underlying cash market.

At the close, the October 2025 contract shed 6.5 points to 1,623.50, while the November 2025 and December 2025 contracts were 5.5 points lower at 1,623.50 and 1,622.0, respectively, while March erased 3.5 points to 1,603.0.

Turnover increased to 5,881 lots from 4,329 on Tuesday, while open interest strengthened to 47,961contracts from 45,974 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI dipped 2.53 points to 1,627.50, from Tuesday’s close of 1,630.03.
