AXS Acquires Majority Stake In SISTIC To Strengthen Singapore Entertainment

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- AXS, the global ticketing division of United States-based Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), has entered into a strategic partnership with Singapore’s leading ticketing platform, SISTIC, acquiring a majority stake in the company.

AEG in a statement said that the partnership combines AXS’s global network and advanced ticketing technology with SISTIC’s trusted presence in Singapore’s events industry to strengthen the city-state’s position as a premier entertainment hub.

The collaboration is expected to enhance Singapore’s standing as a major destination for sports, live entertainment and lifestyle events across the region.

AXS President, International, Blaine Legere said Singapore and Southeast Asia represent some of the most dynamic growth markets in live entertainment.

“By combining SISTIC’s deep regional expertise with AXS’s global technology platform, we have a unique opportunity to redefine how fans discover, access, and experience live events,” he said.

Legere added that the partnership would expand access to world-class productions while ensuring Singapore’s arts scene continues to thrive on the global stage.

Meanwhile, SISTIC Chief Executive Officer, Joe Ow said joining the AXS network opens new opportunities for growth while maintaining the company’s commitment to deliver professional ticketing services.

He said the integration of both companies’ technologies will be carried out gradually to ensure a seamless experience for clients and ticket buyers.

AXS, a wholly owned subsidiary of AEG, supports globally recognised brands in sports and entertainment. Its portfolio includes iconic venues, sports teams, festivals and live events across North America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

With a strategic stake in SISTIC, AXS will expand its presence in Southeast Asia by offering more diverse live events and activities in Singapore and neighbouring markets. Together, AXS and SISTIC are poised to transform the region’s live events landscape—combining global innovation with regional insight to deliver next-level experiences to audiences across the region.
